EXCAVATOR JOB

An Excavator Operator at IGT is to have the ability and skill to successfully operate an excavator for excavation of mainline trenching. The equipment is to be maneuvered safely and cautiously as there are many people and objects surrounding.

Duties / Description:

• Operation of a variety of equipment suitable to meet the specifics of the project
• Perform inspection of site to determine location of exactions
• Comply with federal, state, and local codes and ordinances including OSHA standards and rules
• Support laborers as needed (Physical tasks out of equipment may be necessary)
• Ensure on site equipment is maintained in a proper fashion
• Self-starter and the ability to work long hours
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and grade

Pay Range: $25 - $30
Qualifications / Experience: Driver's license: required (Class CDL A preferred)Construction experience: 4 year (preferred)Operating experience: 4 year (preferred)
Schedule: 8 - 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday (Some Saturdays may be required)
